Successful on paper, but something feels off?

You’ve built a career that looks good on the outside. But underneath, something doesn’t feel right anymore.

You might recognise yourself in this:

  • You second-guess yourself and replay conversations you used to handle with ease

  • Your confidence has taken a hit, and you don’t know how to get it back

  • The role you worked hard for now feels draining, frustrating, or misaligned

  • You’re carrying pressure you shouldn’t be carrying, and doing it alone

  • You know you’re capable, but you’re not showing up like yourself anymore

  • You're navigating redundancy, career transition, a new leadership role, or questioning whether to stay, step up, or walk away

You don’t need to start over. But you can’t keep ignoring this.

And right now, you don’t want another opinion. You want to trust your own.

Coaching with me is different.

You need space to think properly, speak honestly, and work through what’s actually going on.

I work with capable women navigating career transition, leadership challenges, redundancy, workplace change, and those periods where confidence and decision-making suddenly feel much harder than they used to.

This is what that looks like in practice:

  • Get underneath the overthinking and second-guessing

  • Rebuild your confidence in how you think, speak, and show up

  • Help you make decisions you actually trust

  • Support you to handle conversations you’ve been avoiding

  • Help you move forward with confidence through career transition, leadership growth, and major professional decisions.

This isn’t about fixing you. It’s about helping you think clearly again, trust yourself, and move forward with conviction.

When we work together:

  • You stop second-guessing yourself and start trusting your decisions

  • You understand what’s actually been holding you back and know how to move through it

  • You feel more confident in how you think, speak, and show up

  • You handle conversations you’ve been avoiding with clarity and authority

  • You stop replaying everything in your head and start moving forward

  • You show up in interviews and opportunities with clarity, confidence, and authority

  • We identify career opportunities, leadership pathways, and next steps that align with your strengths, values, and long-term goals, and you learn how to position yourself to go after them and secure them

I have a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent professionals, including those with ADHD and autism, especially those who have spent years trying to fit into workplaces that don't reflect how they naturally think, communicate, and perform at their best.

This is something I care about deeply, both professionally and personally, and it shapes the way I support each client.

Coaching with organisations:

Alongside 1:1 coaching, I also work with organisations and groups, supporting individuals and teams through change, pressure, and transition.

This includes:

  • 1:1 coaching within organisations

  • Team coaching and group sessions

  • Talks and workshops on confidence, decision-making, and navigating change

Latasha Baynham is a London-based confidence, career transition and leadership coach. Through Shine Your Light Coaching & Consultancy, she supports professionals navigating career change, redundancy, leadership transitions, confidence challenges and workplace pressure across the UK and internationally.

Hi, I’m Latasha Baynham.

I help capable women who look successful on paper rebuild their confidence and make their next bold move.

From the outside, things look good. But privately, something doesn’t feel right anymore.

And at night, you’re lying awake thinking,
“I shouldn’t feel like this at this stage.”

I’ve seen this pattern many times.

After nearly 20 years working in global financial organisations, including J.P. Morgan and Schroders, I’ve worked closely with people navigating pressure, change, and high expectations.

And what I’ve learned is this:

It’s rarely a lack of capability. And it’s rarely a lack of options.

It’s what’s happening underneath.

The way you see yourself. The way you second-guess your decisions. The way your confidence shifts without you fully understanding why.

That’s the part that interests me most.

My own path into this work started with a turning point.

I experienced redundancy. It forced me to stop holding onto what felt safe and actually ask what I wanted. Working with a coach changed how I saw myself and what I believed was possible. And it’s what led me to create Shine Your Light.

Because when that shift happens, everything else starts to move.

You trust your decisions. And you move forward with confidence and conviction.

Based in London and working with clients across the UK and internationally.

If this is resonating, I’d love to talk to you.

Testimonials

Hear from some of my clients in their own words.

“I wasn’t sure coaching would make much difference and worried it would feel like another chore. What surprised me was how practical and simple the process was. By the second session, I started seeing how much influence others were holding over me at work and, for the first time, recognised that I had the authority and skills to take control. That insight changed everything. I now feel calmer, more confident, and able to assert myself effectively. I wish I had started sooner.”

— AC (Department Head – Financial Services, Leeds, UK)

"I began coaching at a point where I needed clarity to make a major redundancy decision and felt lost in competing thoughts. Latasha helped me identify the real issues, name my imposter voice, and work through practical steps that came from within me. The Financial Clarity Roadmap we created gave me a clear sense of direction. I chose to stay in my role feeling grounded, confident, and more in control of what I truly need to thrive."

— Hanan (Middle Management Civil Servant, London, UK)

"As a Founder and Director, I’m used to solving everyone else’s problems, so I wasn’t sure what coaching could add. It was more powerful than I imagined. I let go of some things that were draining my energy for over a year. It was heavy, heavy stuff, and saying it out loud felt like a weight lifted. Through coaching with Latasha, I finally had the space to plan ahead and think strategically about my business, not just react week to week. To anyone considering it, don’t hesitate."

— Charlotte (Founder & Director - A Load of Waffle, France)

"Coaching helped me see how the stories I told myself were keeping me stuck. Working with Latasha after a lay-off helped me trust my voice again, trust my message, and trust that the right opportunities will show up. Once I realized that the fear and resentment holding me back wasn't serving me, I started taking action, trusting my instincts, and showing up as myself again. Latasha is a skilled listener and was an excellent guide in helping me discover my path forward.

Frequently Asked Questions

Latasha Baynham, career transition and confidence coach based in London.
  • Coaching is a structured conversation that helps you think clearly again.

We get underneath what’s actually going on, so you can make decisions you trust and move forward with confidence.

  • Great question, and a very common one. Coaching is forward-focused. We focus on what’s happening now, what’s shifted, and what needs to change.

If you’re looking to process trauma or deep emotional healing, therapy may be more appropriate.

If you’re capable, self-aware, and ready to move forward but feel stuck in how to do that, coaching can be a strong fit.

Many of my clients are also in therapy, and find that these can be complementary modalities.

  • Every client's goals are different, but coaching often helps people:

    • Rebuild confidence after setbacks, change or redundancy

    • Make difficult decisions with greater certainty

    • Stop second-guessing themselves and trust their judgement

    • Navigate career transitions and leadership challenges

    • Handle difficult conversations more confidently

    • Gain clarity on what they want next and create a plan to move forward

    • Feel more like themselves again at work and in life

Coaching can help you see situations differently, recognise strengths you may have overlooked and take meaningful action towards the future you want.

  • Yes! Redundancy is something I understand both professionally and personally.

After nearly 20 years working in financial services, I experienced redundancy myself. I know how unsettling it can feel when something familiar suddenly changes and you're left questioning what comes next.

Many of my clients come to coaching during periods of career transition, redundancy, restructuring or uncertainty. Together we focus on rebuilding confidence, making decisions and creating a plan for what comes next, rather than staying stuck in the uncertainty.

While redundancy can feel like an ending, it can also become the starting point for a very different and more fulfilling chapter.

  • Coaching is often most helpful when you know something needs to change, but you're not entirely sure what that change looks like yet.

Many of my clients come to coaching because they've lost confidence, feel stuck at a crossroads, are navigating redundancy or career transition, stepping into leadership, or simply know they're no longer as fulfilled as they once were.

You don't need to have everything figured out before you start. In fact, many people begin coaching because they want a confidential space to think clearly, understand what's really going on, and decide what to do next.

The best way to find out if coaching is right for you is to book an initial call. We'll talk about what's happening, what you're looking for, and whether coaching feels like the right fit.

  • We’ll talk through what you’re navigating, what’s not working, and what you want to change. You’ll get a feel for how I work, and we’ll decide whether this is the right fit.

    No pressure.

  • That’s totally OK! You don’t need to be 100% sure. Most people aren’t when they first reach out. The feelings you’re experiencing right now were felt by most of my most capable and successful clients.

The call is there to explore whether this feels right for you, not to lock you into anything. Let’s chat and I’ll be happy to answer all your other questions.

  • Yes.

Alongside my caching work, I spent nearly 20 years working in global financial services organisations including J.P. Morgan and Schroders, partnering closely with senior leaders and executives.

I understand the pace, complexity, politics, and pressures that come with high-performing corporate environments. While I work with clients across many industries, this experience gives me particular insight into the challenges faced by professionals working in financial and professional services.

  • Yes. A significant number of the clients I work with have ADHD or autism, including many who have spent years trying to fit into environments that don’t work for how they naturally think and operate.

This is an area I have a genuine interest in, both professionally and personally, and I bring an understanding of how confidence, communication, and decision-making can be affected in those environments.

Coaching is always tailored to the individual, so we work in a way that actually fits how you think and process.

  • Yes.

Many of my clients are experienced professionals, senior leaders, and executives navigating greater visibility, responsibility, organisational change, or career transition.

From difficult conversations and leadership confidence to strategic decision-making and managing pressure, coaching provides a confidential space to think clearly, strengthen your leadership, and move forward with confidence.

  • No. While much of my work focuses on supporting capable women navigating confidence, career transition and leadership challenges, I also work with men who feel stuck, uncertain about what's next, or want to strengthen their confidence, decision-making and leadership impact.

The principles of effective coaching are the same regardless of gender. What matters most is whether my approach and experience are the right fit for your goals and challenges.

  • For coaching packages, payment plans are available and we can talk through options on our call.

I accept all major credit cards and take payment securely via an online portal. I do not hold onto payment information. I also provide invoices to organisations.

  • Yes. Coaching provides a confidential space to think, reflect and talk openly about the challenges, decisions and situations you may not feel comfortable discussing elsewhere.

Many clients come to coaching carrying concerns about work, confidence, leadership, career decisions or difficult conversations. Knowing they can speak honestly without judgement is often one of the most valuable parts of the process.

As a European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) Accredited Senior Practitioner, I work within professional ethical guidelines and treat all coaching conversations as confidential, except in the rare circumstances where there is a legal or safeguarding obligation to disclose information.
